Jennifer’s background includes a degree in Family Studies from St. Olaf College and professional work as Human Resources Director for a Hilton Hotel property before entering the Peace Corps with her husband. Serving for two years in a small Honduran mountain village, the couple taught computer education, assisted with small business development and raised both funds and awareness for clean water projects. Time overseas equipped Jennifer with what she calls “finding beauty in the simple”—a foundation to her Be Here Now message.
Currently raising two young children, Jennifer is attentive to the value in moments spent together. She finds genuine contentment and love in her four-year old Madelynn’s tighter than cocoon hugs and her five-year old, Jordan’s invented nick-names such as “mumsy.” Along with writing, she loves cappuccinos from Starbucks, reading while wearing fuzzy slippers and traveling anywhere warm.
Jennifer desires to live less selfishly, love more blindly and welcome the importance of today.

| "The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart -- and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained."-Alexander Solzhenitsyn - Gulag Archipelago |
